Anyway, I can blame the environment.

The last time I came back, they were driving piles into the ground just a street away.
This time, they are dismantling the steel tower situated across the road formally used for water reserve or whatever you call it. Dismantling the top part was torturous to me. These type of towers were built decades ago, which means they use high quality metals that weigh tonnes which I bet would bring a fortune to anyone selling them today. Before the crane came, they were throwing down the iron floor from the highest part. By calculating the weigh of the iron, the acceleration due to free fall, and the impulsive force when it hits the ground, you could estimate the sound caused by it.
A perfect excuse for me to put off my work.
The one and only landmark useful to locate my house is now almost gone. Those who want to visit my house will have a tough time locating my house, unless they have GPS.
They are dismantling the tower by taking out every bar and sheet. Slow and torturous work by hand. Lesson learnt, never build towers like this with strong materials unless you want it to last for centuries.
